Internship Communication Division

The Communications department includes PR & Public Relations as well as online editing.
In PR & Public Relations, we work with the organisation of press appointments, preparation of press releases, research work and editorial tasks.
In the online editorial department, we work with content maintenance and production for our websites and social media channels. We use our CMS to keep our websites up to date and we research, design, write texts and take photos for content production.
To support our team, we are always looking for interns (m/f/d) for at least 2 months.

Internship in the tourism division

The Tourism Division of Kiel-Marketing e.V. is responsible, among other things, for the operation of the Tourist Information, the central hotel and room booking service, the conference and congress service, the development and sale of package and group tours, city tours, maritime weddings, Kiel souvenir and ticket sales, the daily call centre operation, advertising, PR and trade fair presence as well as for the creation and distribution of print products (e.g. Kiel Fjord holiday catalogue, Kiel events brochure).

Internship in city and town centre management

The business division City and City Management division is responsible for city marketing for the state capital of Kiel and pursues a holistic approach. The main objective of city marketing in Kiel is to maintain, promote and improve the attractiveness and quality of life of our city. The key factors in this process are communication and co-operation. We form the interface between business, politics and administration, bundle forces and establish PPP structures. In the operational area, Kiel-Marketing is also responsible for many city events in the areas of retail support and culture. We have also been responsible for central city centre management since 2017.
