The Tourism Division of Kiel-Marketing e.V. is responsible, among other things, for the operation of the Tourist Information, central hotel and room booking service, conference and congress service, development and sale of package and group tours, city tours, maritime weddings, Kiel souvenir, ticket sales, daily call center operation, advertising, PR and trade fair presence as well as for the creation and distribution of print products (e.g. Kieler Förde holiday magazine, Kiel event brochure).

The business division City and Downtown Management division is responsible for city marketing for the state capital of Kiel and pursues a holistic approach. The main objective of city marketing in Kiel is to maintain, promote and improve the attractiveness and quality of life of our city. The key factors in this process are communication and cooperation. We form the interface between business, politics and administration. We bundle forces and establish PPP structures. In operational terms, Kiel-Marketing is also responsible for many city events in the areas of retail support and culture. We have also been responsible for central downtown management since 2017.
